Fertilisers used in agriculture play an essential role in crop growth and farm yields. Over the past 100 years, the development and release of new fertilisers have had enormous progress in agricultural practices. Nevertheless, most of the manufactured fertiliser products rely on mineral resources, which are limited. A promising practice is the use of Bio-based fertilisers.
