RUSTICA presented at VENICE2024 Symposium on agro-industrial waste
The RUSTICA project showcased its innovative solutions at the “From Waste to Wealth” workshop held at the VENICE2024 Symposium.
The RUSTICA project was proudly presented at the 10th International Symposium on Energy from Biomass and Waste held in Venice, Italy, from 25 to 27 November 2024. At the “From Waste to Wealth: Exploring the Power of Agro-Industrial Waste” workshop, RUSTICA shared its cutting-edge solution for converting organic residues into sustainable bio-based fertilisers. The presentation was delivered by Tania Sinicco from RUSTICA partner CREA, who emphasized the technologies used to transform organic waste into valuable fertilizers, followed by their successful application in field trials.
An engaged audience of about 25 academics and researchers was introduced to RUSTICA’s innovative methods and sustainable practices, which aim to advance circular economy models in agriculture. The workshop facilitated in-depth discussions on the role of agro-industrial waste in solving environmental challenges, with RUSTICA reaffirming its commitment to fostering sustainable agricultural solutions. The VENICE2024 symposium brought together experts from various fields to explore energy, waste, and sustainability issues.
In continuation, you will find the paper published in the workshop proceedings and the presentation on RUSTICA by CREA.
