RUSTICA engages in successful Networking Event at NERM Conference 2024
The recent networking event organized by the FER-PLAY project at the NERM Conference 2024 was a resounding success. Held online on the 15th of April 2024, the event facilitated collaboration, highlighted business opportunities in novel fertilizer value chains, and addressed legislative barriers in circular bio-based fertilizers.
In an effort to foster collaboration and explore business opportunities in the realm of sustainable fertilizers, FER-PLAY, a project funded by the European Union, organized a networking event at the NERM Conference 2024. The event brought together key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the latest developments in the field. RUSTICA partner Adelheid Wiedemann of Wiedemann GmbH, participated in discussions aimed at maximizing impact of sustainable fertilizers.
Led by CETENMA, the coordinator of the FER-PLAY project, the event provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas, share insights, and forge partnerships. The event emphasized collaboration with other projects, such as RUSTICA, and showcased business opportunities in novel fertilizer value chains. Participants explored avenues for dissemination and exploitation, with a focus on leveraging mutual strengths for collective progress.
A highlight of the event was the keynote address by Mr. Ludwig Hermann, former president of the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP). Mr. Hermann provided valuable insights into legislative and policy barriers facing circular bio-based fertilizers, underscoring the importance of addressing regulatory challenges to drive innovation and sustainability in the industry.
