Wiedemann GmbH, which was established in 1996, is aimed at efficient and sustainable solutions relating to natural renewable resources as well as bio-based materials and their market options. The business operations of the company comprise research and analysis as well as the development of strategies for a successful launch of innovative products and services. Due to the long-term experience of more than 20 years in the area of Bio-based Advancement, Wiedemann GmbH is acquainted with identifying and addressing challenges, such as legislative barriers at the European, national and regional level, by taking into account the entire value chain including but not limited to feedstock and waste recovery.

Adelheid Wiedemann

Adelheid Wiedemann, CEO of WIEDEMANN GMBH (www.wiedemann-gmbh.eu) has more than 25 years of experience in the valorization of renewable resources to food, feed, biobased materials and energy. She is known as an expert for creating added value to Bio-based Advancement. Her scope of business activities covers political and legal aspects, economic and financial affairs as well as ecological and social requirements.

She has been involved into European (Horizon 2020, FP7, FP5) and national research projects, e.g., as a work package leader not only in the areas of policy and market analysis but also in exploitation and dissemination of the results.
In the RUSTICA project, Adelheid will be responsible for analysing and evaluating legislation in the national, European and international context. Furthermore, she will contribute to building the RUSTICA stakeholder network, conducting market analysis and working on business model development. Moreover, she will be involved into dissemination and communication of the project.

Adelheid has an educational background in agriculture (EQF-6 Bachelor (GER) and holds an Executive Degree in Business Administration from Lorange Institute of Business (now CEIBS), Zurich, Switzerland.
